1. I see it as a welcome development.
Obama will not have to compromise his principles to that of Joe Lieberman in order to garner and keep his endorsement. Lieberman has released Obama from having to sell his soul to be elected.

2. This Means Nothing.
Lieberman just revealed himself as a republican. Republicans support republicans for president.

And in 2008, we may not have to worry about breaking the "partison gridlock" after the voters kick the GOP out on their ass. Remember twice as many republican senators as Democrats are running for relection in 2008 and its not a good time for republicans.

4. Some people don't get it
So let me clarify...

McCain would do a better job of breaking partisan gridlock than Barack Obama would.

This has nothing to do with Lieberman endorsing Obama.

7. We get it just fine, thanks. Lieberman is a Republican.
If that's what you are looking for in "breaking bipartisan gridlock" then maybe you should look elsewhere.

5. pathetically transparent spin attack
Why would anyone even ask what it means for Obama, as opposed to anyone else, unless targeting attack on Obama. (What does the sun rising later today mean for Clinton's campaign?)

6. Spin attack? No
It's perfectly legitimate to raise the idea that Obama's claims that he is capable of bipartisan compromise are weak.

Show me how he could be better than McCain or how McCain could not pose him a problem or keep your thoughts to yourself.

9. I believe Lieberman had been a mentor to Obama when he joined the Senate
Perhaps that is why the question was brought up.
