The REAL 'War On Christmas'

So, I was emailing with a Dutch friend of mine and asked if he was doing anything for Christmas. He said his parents are Muslim, so they don't celebrate Christmas (I think he just doesn't care about religion at all). I told him that in the US, lots of Muslims and Even Jews celebrate Christmas. His response, one of the funniest jokes ever:

"I meant, my parents are muslims so they don't celebrate Christmas because they are - together with all the other muslims - constantly busy (trying to destroy the world)."

One of the funniest things ever. What troubles me is that I can't decide is if this is how crazy the fundie/neocon alliance actually is... there very well may be people who think this. What's more crazy is that a Dutch guy in his 20s is able to make the joke - that's how global this problem is.
