Cry Me A River Joe
Ooooooo......they all feel so sorry for poor poor Britney on Scarborough Country. What A Crock Of Shit!

Like I feel any sympathy for that pathetic excuse for a music star. Like she has problems? Poor baby.

It just amazes me that people can feel sad for someone with the IQ of a 10 year old....if that. Who has as Joe put it, Gazillions of Dollars.

I have respect and care about people who live their lives responsibly, and have some degree of intelligence. Brain Dead, Drug Addict, Politically Inept, 90% Phony, Hairdo Bimbos like Britney, should be God Damn thankful for what they have.

If anything, I wish the worst for people like her. I Hope that they fail and crumble. The mere fact that she is repopulating the planet with more brain dead offspring, who will grow up with Zero sense of responsibility or intelligence, and take this country down even further. She already conceived of two, via KFed, and there is no doubt in my mind she's not done yet, if she can help it.

I would not blink an eye if her career went straight down into the toilet, and I will be happy if it does. Women like the members of the Dixie Chicks, who lead healthy lives, those are the ones to aspire to. Not some Bitch like Britney, who is obviously so mixed up, she's crazy enough to shave her head.

1. As much as you dislike Britney ....
Edited on Mon Feb-19-07 10:02 PM by Trajan
She is still a human being ...

Hatred brings out the best in people, dontcha think ? (:sarcasm:)

Yeah .. caveats aside ...there was some serious hatred in there ....

I wish she would just get well .. NOT get hurt ....

And since when are the offspring of troubled human beings legitimate targets of disgust for their parent's weaknesses ? ..... How is it THEIR fault ?

2. Poor Joe--THIS is what he has to do with hold on to Keith's audience?

At any rate, Joe, if you REALLY feel sorry for Britney, why don't you give her some space and privacy AND STOP COVERING HER? It isn't as though she's a REAL story!

3. Celebrity
Famous for being famous.

As Cintra Wilson said it's a MASSIVE SWELLING.

So why do we let ourselves be distracted by the likes of talentless drones who self destruct in front of our eyes? Perhaps it's the same genetic malfunction in humans that draw us to public executions, car accidents and other instances of human suffering.

4. sorry, you're being just plain nasty
I've never been a fan of Britney but I feel sympathy for anyone who is so obviously troubled......you are losing your sense of humanity when you start wishing the worst for people

5. Looks to me like she is on the high dive
without any water underneath her.
I hope she gets help.
As freaky as it is...I almost understand why she cut off her hair.
Since she was a very young age...she has been working long hours and financially supporting her family and those families of those whom she employed.
She was a commodity. The fresh face...white teeth, blonde beautiful hair.
Kids want to be her, old men lust after her...because she was pretty and could sing--and her parents exploited that.
I think cutting off her hair was a statement of "Fuck you all"...and to see if people loved her for her...and not what she looked like.
I feel very sorry for her. I don't like her politics--but there again, those are probably her parents views as well.

6. Sorry
People like that she be held to a higher standard. When you become that famous, that wealthy, and admired, you should also be responsible.

And for the person who said I blamed her kids for her actions, or whatever was said....it's not the kids fault. But do you think those kids are going to grow up to be more or less responsible and/or intelligent than say the kids of parents more responsible than Britney & KFed? Those kids are going to be like George & Laura's offspring. Do people on here laugh or feel sympathy when they read that Jenna got drunk? Do you all hope that the * girls all succeed in life?

Anyways, it's a relatively stupid topic, but I truly despise those who take nothing but advantage for what they have, and throw it all down the toilet. When you get to that level, you need to be happy and wise, but it's obvious Britney is neither. And I think her lack of intelligence will make her chances for recovery that much more difficult.

My life has been fairly uneventful and dull, yet I'm still here longer than Anna Nicole was. I wonder if Britney will be able to make it to 39.

8. I just wish crap such as this mess didn't knock so much legitimate news
off the air.

I give not one shit about Ms Spears.

But she does have one butt-ugly cranium.

9. Sorry
But everyone in life can have problems. Gasp, even if you're famous and wealthy. I, like a few others in this thread feel sorry for her, and hope that she can get her life back in order, for her sake and her children's. I don't like wishing anyone harm, or enjoying their misery. To me, that's pretty sad. Just my opinion.

10. No Brittney fan here...but I find myself fearing sorry for her.
She's probably struggling with her identity...she's a mother of 2 kids now, recently divorced, torn between the teen superstar and new reality. I doubt she has the tools to handle these changes very well. Probaly ought to get herself into rehab and get herself straightened out.

Too much media pressure, too. She's constantly under the microscope...I wonder how any normal human can deal with the scrutiny. When Joe asks what's wrong with these people, he ought to consider the time and focus cable news puts in covering these stories and assign himself some of the blame.

On the political front, Joe really seems to be undergoing a serious political change in his evaluation of the current Republic Party....I find that encouraging...

12. Personally, I think Britney is suffering from the fallout of all child stars...
over exposure.

More than likely not given the tools to live a normal life that is defined by the general population she is doing what she knows best which is being in the spot light.

That doesn't make her actions right, it's just what she knows.

If there is anything to be sick of, it should the be the overwhelming spot light that has been shown upon her life.

Granted she isn't the brightest bulb in the lot but then who can cast the first stone about personal mistakes we all have made and would have no doubt been amplified if we were surrounded by a constant media circus?

Her career has been on a steady decline once she chose to have children, why? because the record company whores who promote the over sexuality image that Britney portrays has basically recast her as a musical pariah.

The really sad statement about all of this is, aside from the media circus, is that the image of a sexy star having children it taboo among the marketing elite.

Britney is suffering from a whole bunch of things, but the reality is, she has been cast out of the music world, because she is a mom, and she is suffering because of that.

I think at the core of it all, Britney is probably a fairly normal person who wanted what a lot of people want, a family. But given her lifestyle, her career (the way it's been promoted), her career starting at an early age and lack of parenting skills it didn't work out as well as she thought it would.

I think she found out very quickly that kids are a full time job.
