...you better believe the Federal Government would bend over backwards supporting "State Law"

But since, God forbid, 17 states want to make their environment a little bit cleaner and force higher standards when it comes to CO2 emmissions then damnit - you better fall in line with the other 33 states that don't care of their polluting the environment.

A special cheers to Arh-nuld, the republican governor of California who said he will go to the federal courts to allow California to set the higher standards. The guy may be a prick but when it comes to the environment he's better than some of the democratic governors on our team.

But you know if these 17 states wanted to ban abortion - the Bush Regime would bend over backwards to accomadate them.

Hypocrisy thy name is George Bush

1. States rights are only permitted when it suits the GOP.

3. In all fairness - this is a Bush Regime doing, not GOP
since Arnold Schwartznegger (however you spell his last name) is leading the cause to improve carbon emissions and he is GOP.

I won't be shocked if one of these days Arnold goes independant like Bloomberg since Arnold seems to be on our side more than the repukes. But Arnold is old-school republican and not one of these fundie nutjobs that is standard issue for the GOP today

2. Ahnold has this nasty European habit of not toeing the line
on either side. Which is refreshing in American politics.
