My Christmas wish for DU

I am heading out of town for Christmas with my family and I will not have access to DU for a week or so.

I just wanted to wish ALL of you a very Merry Christmas! (Even if you do not celebrate Christmas - have a GREAT week)

I know there are those of us on DU that may disagree stongly on every issue ever posted here. But I know that in these crazy times where many Americans STILL listen to FauxNews and still cannot get over a Presidential BJ while thousands are dead in Iraq, I can come to DU for a dose of sanity.

Everytime I pass a car on the Mass Turnpike with a DU bumpersticker I smile and wave. Everytime I read a posting by BossHog or lioness I smile and nod my head in agreement. We really all want the same thing at the end of the day; a sane, progressive government that listens to the will of the people and not the military-industrial complex or special interest or their "god".

For that I am thankful and for that I hope your God blesses you this holiday season.
