This is my 7th Christmas at DU
with an additional 109,000 friends and family members since 2001. Some of our old friends have passed on and other have moved on, but it's still a great community, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

3. Hi oldtimer! It's been quite a run so far, eh?
I actually can't imagine my life without DU. Even when I stayed away for a long time, it was never completely out of my mind. It was no suprise to find myself coming back.

It's always great to see another name from the old days.

how time flies!

We have certainly grown over those years. I was but a wee newbie when Christmas 2002 rolled around. I had probably not posted much since about a month after I joined my brother got sick and that whole thing took several months and I was awfully timid anyway. No more no more.
