23. Sorry I was in Saudi Arabia at that time

so i didn't get much US propaganda reports during that time. Still i think it a stretch that she made any significant input on noms. I do remember Rush ranting about that same issue though <AFRN>. Well it was listen to Armed Forces Radio or the local stations. I didn't understand either but at least the songs on the local stations were cool.

I was Navy ROTC briefly, but Crohn's is non-waiverable.

I took my oath as a midshipman right around the time Saddam was using human shields.

The 92 election was the first in which I could vote, and I paid careful attention to the transition.

You might find George Stephanopoulos' book, "All Too Human: A Political Education," to be an interesting read re: Hillary's role.

25. I served but this was

a humanitarian gig. Rebuilt some tech infrastructure and such. Actually Bills winning the election is what brought me back to the states. I was an ex-pat for quite a few years and was about to apply for German citizenship. Wish i had now.

27. Yes. We were on a compound in Saudi

and flew in and out of Kuwait every day. There were too many mines and booby traps to live there. I grew up in Morgan county. I no longer live there but do get back at least once a month.

I think that if a Democrat pulls the upset and wins in 2008, no matter who it is, there will be one cabinet nominee that will get the RW up in arms and the president will be forced to withdraw the nomination...

Even if we pick up a net 5+ seats in the Senate and a net 15+ seats in the House, it will happen.

After Dukakis had lost the election in '88, I didn't follow politics too closely for most of the 90s. I was upset about '88 and Dukakis' poor campaign, and also spent most of the 90s more concerned about trying to chase women than thinking about politics.

So, I wouldn't have noticed the transition in '92 beyond the high profile stuff like Baird/Wood. Didn't it also come out that Wood had worked at a Playboy Club, too?

... in which I could vote, and I was in college (so lots of time). I had multiple newspapers going, and was hooked into every proto-database I could get my hands on.

Kimba Wood was only a trainee PB Bunny. She decided on Harvard Law instead.
