Leon Panetta - Used Clinton Chief of Staff - on Bloomberg after Recent Comments on Clintons
Edited on Thu Dec-27-07 07:15 PM by CorpGovActivist
If you get Bloomberg TV, Leon Panetta was on this hour, discussing both foreign and domestic issues from his http://www.panettainstitute.org/">think tank's headquarters. Bloomberg usually repeats this segment later in the evening, and often places the archived segments on http://www.bloomberg.com/media/tv/">Bloomberg TV's site within a day or so.

Panetta was less than enthusiastically supportive of Senator Clinton's "operation," worrying aloud about the Super Duper Tuesday organization.

He still thinks Romney is running the best-organized national campaign on the GOP side.

His appearance on Bloomberg tonight comes on the heels of http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-bill21dec21,1,588975.story?track=rss&ctrack=1&cset=true">his recent admonition to former President Clinton over his attack dog mode, which appeared in the LA Times.

*************************************

"He's got to take the high road," said Leon E. Panetta, chief of staff in President Clinton's first term. "He's strongest when he praises Hillary. He's weakest when he comes out as the attack dog."

*************************************

Every time I see this guy, I feel sorry for him. He's so smart, and gave more than any Chief of Staff ought to be required to give.

... I'll keep it simple: Leon Panetta has spoken on the record, repeatedly, about how he felt misused.

You might find some of his interview answers insightful.

That is a GREAT picture of Santa; was it taken in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1918_in_baseball#Champions">1918?

4. My Soul and My Brain ...
... both work just fine.

Maybe Leon Panetta is soul-less and mindless for criticizing the Clintons, too?
