Now this was a classic
family came to visit, they were told DO NOT download any crap into system.

They went and played the YAHOO games... which do DOWONLOAD crap into your machines, be forwarned

So I go looking for a spyware tool for my 64 bit machine and find StopZILLA... which aparently comes highly recomended. I install it... and it promptly hijacks machine. Yes, yes, it has been removed...

:-)

To say that I am amused at this point is to put it mildly, and I DO HOPE windows defender lives up to its press... or lack off. Too few 64 bit enabled tools out there

I was also chuckling, as ignorant brother has no clue that I can see what he changed, never mind the guest account should not allowed them to do a dman thing... and B... he is just a little dangerous...

IMO Spybot kicks ass and is reccomeded by geeks everywhere. Been using it for about a year and a half and it sweeps up stuff the others miss totally. It's a good tool to have, relatives or not. If that doesn't work, cruise over to www.majorgeeks.com , they have a lot of free goodies to rid yourself of nasty bugs.
