An open letter to Lucinda Bassett

As a committed listener to progressive(intelligent) talk radio, I am subjected to commercials all day long telling me that you can provide help dealing with my depression, anxiety, etc. I welcome your offer of help and I'm sure that there are many who could benefit from your assistance. For myself, I feel my anxiety and depression are founded on real world conditions that self analysis and introspection will do nothing to improve.

From my perspective there are many things in the world that should cause me to be anxious and depressed. It would be beyond foolish to ignore those realities and try to deal with the problems through self-analysis. There are problems that must be dealt with, but most of them are much greater than my own personal demons. If you would care to address the real problem, perhaps you could focus on eliminating or exposing the cause of our anxiety and depression rather than helping us just deal with it.

and take Loral Langmyer and Dr Neil Clark Warren with her. Those ads are a pain in the ass and I'd be a lot less depressed if I didn't have to listen to em.
