So the day very Benazir Bhutto returned home
she was nearly killed and several government controlled street lights just happened to be off.

There was no investigation.
This said government did not provide her with the security she requested.
Now all of a sudden she's dead and not only does the government hold a press conference, but they also tell us they intercepted a phone call from good old Al Qaeda. Amazingly said Al Qaeda is suddenly now guilty of the first attack.

Why do these people confuse me with Bush's sheeple?

I'm not buying this bullshit.

1. You have got to stop thinking for yourself
all it does it make you realize how fucked up everything really is. Why can't you be happy with what you're being told? Honestly! The reporters are happy with what they are told, the sheeple are happy with what they are told, why can't you just play along?

;) :hi:

9. I've got cases of it.
I can send you some. You just apply it directly to your forehead and it eats your brain. It's great stuff and it doesn't stain or smell (although there are some complaints that it can stain your index finger purple, just like you voted in Iraq). No one knows you've become a mindless tool.

Ah well, you wouldn't be you if you didn't look beneath the surface. Hope all is going well. Glad I was able to brighten your day.

2. Ask the question: Does Bhutto's death help bushco?
Sure it does. bush didn't want Bhutto in power. They want to stay with Musharaf. bushco counts Pakistan as an ally, when in actuality, about 60% of Pakistanis hane a favorable opinion of bin Laden, and only about 5% a favorable opinion of bush. (these percentages are something I read recently and unfortunately I have no link.)

Had she just been shot, I'd be a little more skeptical.

4. Pakistani officials now have "proof" that Al Qaeda
was responsible. Convenienct this proof comes AFTER the assassination rather than before.

7. Yep
and since they now have proof that dear old Al Qaeda was also responsible for the attempted assassination, why did they do nothing to stop it?

This should get a DUzy for most unintentionally brain-scarred post of the year.

6. I don't buy it either.
Al-qaida may have been involved, but was one player among many probably.

8. I don't know how to separate Al Qaeda from Mushie,
his army or his intelligence peeps. It's a complete clusterfuck. Bush Cheney, Condi et al have made things decidedly worse.

15. And God bless her, I'm not sure what she thought she could accomplish there in the climate
of today's Pakistan. I'm sure she wanted to make a positive change, but I question how effective she could have been, and I don't know, given how brazen she behaved, if she fully realized the challenges.

She hadn't lived there in over a dozen years, if I recall correctly, and as I understand it, during that time, there's been a ton of immigration from Afghanistan into Pakistan, changing the character of the population as a result, not entirely for the better.

I didn't feel this way yesterday when I woke up, but today, I'm not hopeful about Pakistan's future.

19. Bush didn't provide security either.
With the burgeoning security industry and as close as we know they are to him, why is that?

20. soulcore, you need to start your own thread with this You-tube
clip. I had not seen that before and am sure many others may have missed it also. It is hidden within the main thread and I am afraid others, like I, will miss it again. I never knew that she said Sheik Omar murdered Osama Bin Laden. Thanks for posting this.
