“The assassination of Bhutto I think creates not only new heightened tensions there but it reminds us just how delicate that situation is,” the former Arkansas governor said during an interview Friday morning on KCCI-TV. “If you think about Pakistan, that’s where if we have another terrorist attack, it’s going to be postmarked: Pakistan. That’s where Osama bin Laden is most likely hiding.”

But he still tried to draw a connection between his leadership as a governor and what he’d be asked to do if he was president if faced with a similar international emergency.
“Having been a governor, everyday you face interruptions and the unexpected whether it’s a tornado, a school shooting, it can be an airplane crash, something’s going to happen to interrupt your day and that’s what you get paid for,” he said. “It’s not the expected, but the unexpected.”
