Phone transcript released of Taliban leader discussing Bhutto assassination

http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/asiapcf/12/28/bhutto.dhs.alqaeda/index.html

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN -- U.S. officials suspect a Taliban leader may be behind the plot to assassinate former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a senior official said Friday.

...

In the phone intercept that Pakistani officials released Friday, Mehsud is apparently speaking in the Pashto language to another militant, whom he called Maulavi Sahib, or religious leader. The following is from the transcript:
Don't Miss

Mehsud: Congratulations to you. Were they ours?

Maulavi Sahib: Yes, it was us.

Mehsud: Who was there?

Maulavi Sahib: Saeed was there, second there was Bilal from Badar and Ikramullah.

Mehsud: All three of them did it?

Maulavi Sahib: Ikramullah and Bilal did it.

Mehsud: Then congratulations.

Maulavi Sahib: Where are you? I want to meet.

Mehsud: I am in Makeen . Come over. I am at Anwar Shah's house.

Later in the conversation, Mehsud said, "Fantastic job. Very brave boys, the ones who killed her."

21. Get your hands offa my hummus.
Best diet, ever.

Without altering anything else in my food/drink intake, I lost 25lbs in four weeks by eating hummus and flat-bread for lunch every day.

12. We may not believe it right now...
...but after the 1000th repetition of catapulting the same bullshit, enough of us will probably believe it to make the rest of us look nuts if we don't.

That's kind of how it tends to work...

24. interesting ----seems she was a backer of the taliban
"The Taliban took power in Kabul in September 1996. It was during Bhutto's rule that the Taliban gained prominence in Afghanistan. She viewed the Taliban as a group that could stabilize Afghanistan and enable trade access to the Central Asian republics, according to author Stephen Coll.<10> He claims that her government provided military and financial support for the Taliban, even sending a small unit of the Pakistani army into Afghanistan.....

More recently, she took an anti-Taliban stance, and condemned terrorist acts committed by the Taliban and their supporters."

maybe they did`t like her anymore.

yet the source is from the people who have the most to loose.
