1. whoa
I have to admit, this is going to be fascinating. As far as I'm concerned these are three stellar candidates and I would be happy with any of them in the White House.

4. the key to victory will be who is the person who is second choice among the second tier
who probably won't reach 15%--Dodd, Richardson, Kucinich, and maybe Biden (I think Biden may be at 15%).

12. The Edwards' Strategists know what they are doing... they have been confident.
One area the other candidates cannot compete with Edwards is the rural vote in Iowa. Edwards visited places that Presidential Candidates have never visited before. He went into areas with Republican support, and answered questions --not just a quick speech and gone.

It is going to be interesting to see how the MSM 'spins' the Edwards win in Iowa.

16. "4 Truths that must be spoken in this election...." Edwards.... LINK
http://thepage.time.com/new-stump-speech-from-edwards/

Below are excerpts from his prepared remarks:

*There are four truths that must be spoken in this election:
1. Everything that makes America America is threatened today.
2. This election is not just another four-year fight between political parties or competing ideas - it is an epic struggle for the future of America.
3. Corporate greed and the very powerful use their money to control Washington, and this corrupting influence is destroying the middle class
4. Real change is going to take a real fight. It always does.

*Since the founding of this country, we have fought for change, and changed history.

*When America was founded, there were people who wanted to negotiate with King George. Imagine if we had followed that path. There were people who wanted to contain the trusts instead of bust the trusts. Imagine if we had followed that path. But look what happened when Americans of great conviction led America to stand up for its principles and reach for higher ground. We fought for change, and we changed history.

30. I have not really picked myself.
I'm more or less a Kucinich guy, but know he's got a snowballs chance in hell. However i remember seeing Edwards, and hearing him the last few weeks since his more visible media period. I had a feeling that as more people heard Edwards he would gather a lot more support, and stands a great chance of winning. His message is change, hard work, sacrifice, and a better deal for the common man. This is the message people want, this message will help swing independents, and swing voters. The reason Ron Paul does so well is because his message is change.

Other carry the message of change as well like D.K., but media focus has not blessed them. Paul got his started from a single debate. Edwards just seems to be getting a bit more attention now, and his message seems to resonate well.
