And yet, even if you buy the whole St. Rudy of 9/11 image, how does that prove he is "tested" and "ready"? Exactly what power did he have, as mayor of New York, to enact any sort of meaningful policy to deal with international terrorism? He didn't. The best he can do here is project a "Vote for me 'cause I ain't afraid a' no terrorists!" image.

If this is the best he's got, Rudy's running on fumes.

I honestly think Rudy is the worst, scariest candidate on either side. The very thought of this authoritarian martinet being allowed anywhere near the levers of power is horrifying. He has nothing to offer except "bush with a brain" - an alarming prospect.
