Huckabee ad attacking Mitt ran anyway, after he wouldn't run it, after he ran it for press
http://tpmelectioncentral.com/2008/01/ad_attacking_romney_ran_in_iowa_after_huckabee_said_he_was_yanking_it.php

Remember that ad attacking Mitt Romney that Mike Huckabee unveiled at a press conference before announcing that he wouldn't be running the ad?

Well, it turns out that the ad, which attacked Romney on a host of fronts, seems to have run on Iowa television anyway -- at least a day and half after Huck promised at the presser he'd pull it, touting his decision as proof of what a noble campaign he's run.

This morning, a reader reported to us that the ad ran last night in Cedar Rapids, on TNT, during a rerun of Law and Order. And a day of run-arounds by the local cable company and unreturned calls by from the Huckabee campaign makes it pretty clear our reader is right.

(end snip)

Another what the Huck? You know, we laugh at these missteps, but the truth is, if he can't get people around him who are competent, and he is not competent, then do we really want another huck up in the White House?

Talk about an easy candidate to beat the shit out of. Unless you are a radical fundie this guy is a nut. Every conservative I know thinks he is an incompetent, bat-shit crazy- religious nutcase.

4. Yes he is, but unless you pay attention, you'd never know it.
He's dangerous 'cause he comes off as a really nice and absolutely sane guy. However, his fundamentalist beliefs also make him easy to beat - provided the message got out, was distributed, discussed and believed.

5. I've said this before and I'll say it again: If it's Hillary vs. Huckabee, Huckabee wins.
...And probably by a landslide with *BIG* Republican coat-tails.

6. Yep--his addiction to media attention and the sound of his own voice will doom him--
He is in the race for stardom, not to do the job of President. He's a clown running his own circus. We're talking landslide. Even the GOPers don't take him seriously.
