Tweety doesn't REPORT, for sure, doesn't even PUNDIT, more like PUSH POLLS his opinions
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 11:27 AM by UTUSN
His frivolous, capricious opinions. He and a few of his appreciators here claim that he is a sharp tack, that his insights are valued by the real power wielders. Uh, there's a list somewhere of his various judgments about "what the American people want---a man who smells of cigar and (what, Aqua Velva?)" and his man crush gushing over (let's count'em: ) Shrub, McCAIN, GHOULiani...

So this morning, he pierces through the dozing fog that is SCARBOROUGH, claiming with ferocity and personal animus, "Hillary CLINTON only polls at 33 per cent. She has TWO out of EVERY THREE Iowans against her."

If there is a group of SIX or whatever number, and they split up the total pie, doesn't each one of them have FIVE out of every six "against" them?

Now, I am not a committed primary constituent. Almost any Dem is always better than ANY Rethug (no "almost" about the 2nd half). So it's not my defending her from adherence to anything other than Dem partisanship. Tweety has done and will do the same thing to whoEVER will be the Dem nominee, as opposed to the Rethug nominee.

He has done the same thing all along regarding Senator CLINTON. Back when she posted the MILDEST of "attacks" on Senator OBAMA, something about kindergarten, Tweety was leading the pack about how this VICIOUS ATTACK meant DESPERATION.

Now, we have seen the GHOUL, the HUCKSTER, and the Mittenfuhrer say some comparatively MORE "vicious" things about one another, yet, where is Tweety calling THEM "desperate"?

So, Tweety, this A.M. was attempting to inject his push-political-OPERATIVEness into the last minute undecideds (whatever THEY're thinking!1 ) on the day they finally have to make up their minds.

Another e-mail to MSNBC, disappearing below the water.

1. We have to accept the fact that Hardball will be an hourlong fellation of...
McCain or Romney or whoever the GOP candidate is.

That's just the way it will be.

3. Yip. The only up side is that he has a tiny audience, and who would chose to be guided by him?
When whassisname from SNL first "did" Tweety, he cracked himself up, with his Tweety persona saying about Hardball, "For the---------FIFTY------people who watch this show... "

2. Tweety Plays "Telephone"
His "punditry" is based in his beltway view of the world. He is sucked into this bubble and what he spews is the latest wind from whatever "source" has tickled his ear. He seems to like the calls from Rudy's people but on any given day he can go "Sybil" as the voices in his ears and head collide.

Tweety's been inside the beltway too long...he sees politics and all that comes of it (war, poverty) as a game...he sees it as a blood sport with winner and loser. His "role" is to goad on the participants...stir up the shit for the sport of it. His substance is always trumped by his need to play "the game". Jon Stewart exposed this brilliantly.

"but on any given day he can go "Sybil" as the voices in his ears and head collide."

Classic description.

If he had been there - he would have been the emcee at the collusium - just enjoying the sport.

6. O.K., 5 P.M. Hardball-for-Dems/Puffball for Rethugs is on
& Tweety continues his slant: No matter which candidate, Dem or Rethug, if so-&-so comes in second, no big deal, but "Hilary" will be disastrous with a second and even worse THIRD!1

7. "(HUCKSTER) needs a paperboy to deliver a newspaper every day"
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 05:24 PM by UTUSN
The Kelley O'DONNELL was listing all the issues HUCKSTER doesn't know about, the NIE. Tweety EVEN said HUCKSTER needs to know the writers are on strike and he crossed the picket line last night. O'DONNELL said the reporters told him what it was, then they all (they and him) went ahead and crossed the line.

So here's the kicker, after O'DONNELL approached the threshold of doing some reporting, she said that WHEN HUCKSTER came out afterwards, he said he had thought about it or studied up and "was very supportive of the strikers"!!!1 HaHAH!1

Oh, Tweetster said the HUCKSTER "needs to learn what a picket line is"!1

8. So Tweety plays clips of LETTERMAN & LENO from last night
Some of us got accused last night of crossing the virtual picket line by watching both. Apparently Tweety doesn't agree.

9. After break, the CLINTON/Dave clip runs again, hmm. Now the panel
Jim LEACH (R-retired), Chuck TODD (clueless), BARNICLE the plaigiarist, and BUCHANAN (Nazi).

BARNICLE "There's so much going on that we don't yet get. As far as Mrs CLINTON goes, the entitlement is OVER."

Tweety: "It's not a Walter MONDALE era anymore."

12. Tweets sez "Hillary" is the only one who spins, her spin is "damning"
He says that if Senator CLINTON comes in third or second her campaign SPIN will be that it was because the Independents and Rethugs crossing over and that is is "DAMNING to a campaign to say that CENTER people don't want her."

Uh, if the Tweetster is SO "inside" smart, doee he know that crossovers for the purpose of sabotaging one candidate and/or promoting a weaker Dem candidate is done by people who will VOTE RETHUG in the General, when it counts?!1

BARNICLE returned to his "entitlement" theme. Like, are plaigiarists ENTITLED to be returned to jobs in the public eye, pontificating about what others do or don't do?!1

16. "Hillary's stakes" - Plaigiarist sez if she loses to EDWARDS not so bad.
That if she loses to OBAMA, New Hampshire is "crucial."

Nazi sez if EDWARDS loses Iowa, he'll lose NY, SC and can't (then) win anywhere.

21. Recently on "Morning Joe," the hatred in his voice, as he talked about Hillary...
Clinton was frightening. His political judgments come from, IMO, a disturbed mind, with a sexual disfunction of some kind. His "man crushes" on such as the "cowboy" Bush, the "aftershave" Fred Thompson -- his asking Money Honey Erin Burnett to lean in closer to the camera, telling her she was beautiful -- I really don't see why MSNBC gives him such a showcase role in its political coverage, or even employees him. He's a nutcase.
