Did Howard Dean have cosmetic surgery?
I saw him on MSNBC tonight and I thought he looked REALLY different. Did anyone else notice this?

1. I did
I finally decided he's lost a lot of weight, don't know if that was on purpose or what is going on . . .

2. I noticed too
He looked well, but different. Teeth whitening? Weight loss? Whatever, I love Howard Dean.

5. Were you watching him on a HD tv?
If so, they look like they do in person. Remember, old tv's add 10 pounds.

6. looked like some lost weight and maybe some fast aging.
People don't usually have cosmetic surgery to make their face look more weathered, they also don't usually get it when they're dropping their public profile by about a thousand percent, which Dean has done since 2004.

8. He looked his usual self when we saw him a month ago
We were in the audience at a speech at the end of November. He looked just as he always did during his campaign (a touch more silver hair maybe). I think it was something about the TV lighting that made him look strange tonight--I noticed that too. Maybe no time for TV makeup?

10. He looked ... odd.
We noticed it immediately. He looked very thin and his skin color looked weird, too. Maybe it was just bad lighting.

12. yeah, I almost thought he looked ill

I could understand if he had had some cosmetic procedure - sometimes they don't turn out so well. It was his narrow frame that made me wonder if he's alright; I always thought he had broad shoulders and an almost athletic physique (even if he did carry some extra weight around his waist).

I'm sure we'll see him again in the near future, so we'll see how he looks the next time around.
