As far as speeches go...Obama won hands down
Hillary, Edwards, and all the rest were just okay. Obama's speech was powerful and moving, IMO.

For the record, I haven't been an Obama supporter, but watching TV for the last several hours has got me thinking about it.

1. Yes, he did.
If anyone can pull us together and help this country change course, Obama can.

For the first time in a long time, I have real hope for our nation.

2. It was amazing!
Obama is this generation's Bobby Kennedy...I haven't been as hopeful for this country since the Dean campaign in '04. His speech was unbelievable...the best I've ever seen live!

5. He's the only one that inspired me and made me feel hopeful...
which isn't easy to do these days.

Powerful and moving speech.

4. He's a guy I want to support, but he reminds me too much of Carter.
Probably before alot of people's time, but I'm old enough to remember. A good, extremely intelligent man who wanted change and won on that. But he knew nothing about how to run the presidency or work the WDC system and ended up being a woeful president. His time came however, in all the years that followed.

I want to support Obama but where's the specifics for all of this change and unity? He talks a good game and gives a great speech, but nuts and bolts wise, where's the beef?
