Folks, after 8 years of bush, how bad could 8 years of huckabee BE?

I hope I die before I get old.

1. Is this your sarcastic way of decrying the Obama victory in the caucus?
you like Hillary if I recall right. If not, what is your purpose for this post in detail, instead of just the humor of how horrible it'd be having FU-ckabee as pResident. lol

one Iowa caucus does not make Obama the democratic nominee, fellow DUer. I think Hill has NH by a few points over Obama as of the last poll, and if she wins that, she'll be coasting into a comfortable feb 5. I'd prefer Edwards surge and gain their lead with his message, but it will be what it will be! :)

2. No, not crazy about Hill and Bill in the white house.
And NOT making any Obama comments, just voicing my worst fears.

4. I will leave the country if he gets in office
I WILL NOT take 16 years of right wing rule of this country. I'm a Christian, but I aint THAT kind of Christian. Huckabee scares me with his use of GOD as a tool to oblige the tools! lol... Why doesn't he just paint a cross on his forehead and say JESUS wants you to vote for me, because a vote for someone else is against GOD, because I'm the "I love Jesus" candidate.

Seriously, I will leave if he gets in, I don't think I'll be alone. This country better not let that nutcase in the white house. I hear ol man bomb-bomb-bomb is surging in New Hampshire though, so Huckabee's win may be very short lived.

22. Obama will beat Huckabee
Huckabee would be a formidble opponent. But last night showed how Obama would win. First, note his magnanimous speech. Second, look at the results. Look at how many more independents got involved with the caucuses. Even some cross over republicans. Look at how the youth vote actually showed up to vote. Look at how Obama beat Hillary among WOMEN by 5 points, not even close. Look at how Obama won in Iowa, a lily white state. Look at how Obama won even though the main stream media had touted Hillary as the front runner for years and he faced an up-hill battle some would have believed impossible.

So bring Huckabee on! As long as we have a candidate with Obama's strengths who can reach out across the spectrum for support and fire up his followers we we will win and win resoundingly.

26. Huckabee would be as formidable as Dukakis was.
Except he would win fewer states.

13. I'd wear the "A" proudly.
Rather than identify myself as a mindless, born-again, "values voter" cretin, the "A" would be a badge of honor.

21. Errr
I understand what you are saying, but I would leave the country before I would proudly wear anything that could get me thrown into a concentration.... um, excuse me, re-education... camp. I doubt many of the Jews in Nazi Germany thought that wearing that star was a "badge of honor rather than being identified as a mindless Nazi".

6. Department Of Tongues Anyone?
How about the Secretary of Inquisitions.

The fun thing of 8 years of Hucklenutz is knowing it's almost impossible as the Repugnican party will eat itself alive first...which we shall see really unfold in the next couple weeks.

Also Jews will go to be "perfected", women "retrained" and blacks "put in their place". Oh and the Hispanics, the get put in box cars and sent back to Mexico...but only after they harvest the crops.

8. It could literally destroy America.
He knows nothing about foreign policy. The evangelicals in this country have a proven track record of picking the wrong candidates. That is why I don't care which Dem sits in the White House, just as long as it is a Dem. We have to make sure it is a candidate that can kick Republican ass. Period.

14. Nah, supposed to be a Dem victory BUT still 4 more years of facism.
After that it gets really, really cool, but don't hold up too much hope for the next 4.

16. the fascism is probably going to come from our side
although they will not really be a true Democrat... many former Clinton backers are getting the feeling that Bill & Hill are not really on the Dems side. Especially with Bill's coziness with the son of Prescott. I am concerned for sure. I wish we could guarantee we actually get a REAL Democrat in the office, regardless who it's going to be.

17. At our caucus site, there were neighbors who we spoke to after they came out of their R caucus
who told us that they were so unhappy with the selection of Huckabee by their side that, should he win the nomination, they will vote for the Democratic candidate in the GE. They said they didn't care who the Dem was, they would not vote for Huckabee. Asked why and they told us that it was his religiosity that is unnerving them.

.... I fear McCain a lot more than Huckabee. Huckabee has a lot of skeletons and is going to really please only the evangelicals. And there just aren't enough of them.
