Sorry to see both Biden and Dodd go - they were smart, capable and actually outshone most of the others in their minimal time allotted. Gravel was entertaining, but ate up valuable seconds.

I guess we're left with Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Richardson and Kucinich.

Obama will need specifics - cannot just be motivational speaker
Edwards needs to focus on the moral clarity of his stances and the hard economy of the average American
Clinton will need to take some unambiguous stances and let the chips fall where they may
Richardson will have to stop talking about his resume and focus on future policy
Kucinich has one point that resonates - single payer Universal health. I hope he hammers this and becomes a change agent on this particular issue.

In fact, I hope the next debate spends A LOT of time on the American economic landscape.

3. I still remember checking Dodd's clock during every debate.
I guess that's the silver lining.

9. Thanks
Dennis is on the ballot in New Hampshire and is campaigning hard.
It's Bullshit that he will not be included in the debates.

5. There'll Be Less Bodies On The Stage
Dodd has already dropped out and I think Senator Biden will be right behind him. Richardson is running on fumes now and he must be scratching his head today in which way to go. I've long felt he has been campaigning to be Hillary's VP...now what?

Sadly, I also expect the networks or party powers to exclude DK from any future debates based on his poor perforance in the caucus. In essence it will be a three person debate now...and expect the questions to be a lot more heated and polarizing. I see one coming up hosted by the tag team of Williams and Russert again...I suspect Timmeh will be loaded for bear that night.

The primary season is like an obstacle course. Iowa is the first wall...the field is being thinned...Hampshire is the next water hazzard...headed to the big test...Tsunami Tuesday.

Obama's win last night is sure to make "change" the big issue from here on out and who is the best capable of being the "change agent". It'll be John Edward's challenge now to try to show he's the better change agent. Hillary and Richardson now have to find a way to keep up. The dynamics did change last night.

7. No they won't they never will
they will jump all over Hillary and Edwards and fluff up anything they ask Obama. THEY WANT HIM AS THE CANDIDATE SO THE REPUBLICANS WILL WIN. How damn stupid can people be. No wonder the democrats never win they always want the weakest candidate. Obama's American Idol actions make the dumb ass supporters think he is some body...He isn't he is just about as air brained as an American Idol. And the 100,000 students bussed into Iowa prove that.
