Just saw Jeeh-zus Camp last night.
One thing I noticed, at the camp, not once did they mention the benevolence of Jesus or Christ's love and compassion for his enemies. Actually, they didn't mention Christ's love at all. What was also sick was the Army Captain being shipped off to Iraq who called it an "all expenses paid missionary trip". Sick bastard. And the "teacher" who took her students down to the local VFW and had them all touch the building and pray for the soldiers.

1. if they actually picked up a New Testament . . .
. . . the kind where Jesus' words are higlighted in red, they'd find themselves in uncharted waters.

The stupid neandrethals. Teaching kids to hate.

I wish the Bible was just the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes. I really do. The ideas contained in those few passages are stunning and revolutionary.

And they leave no room for hatred, revenge, and greed.

2. I'm always surprised at how far some Christians are from Christ.
It's almost as if they haven't read the New Testament, or have some kind of "special edition".

3. I got the impression...
that Christ was merely this abstract concept that they superimposed their whacked out ideals onto. Seriously, this Christian death cult has literally nothing to do with Christ.
