One Card Monte - Tony Blankley shoots another blank.
Last month, Sen. Barack Obama called for our troops to leave Iraq by March 2008. Last weekend, Sen. Hillary Clinton called for our troops to start leaving within 90 days. In this Demented Demagogic Democratic Destruction Derby (military status: 5F) of American national-security interests, I suppose former Sen. John Edwards, in an effort to hold on to his title of supremo anti-war candidate, will have to designate it a crime against humanity that the troops weren't pulled out a week ago last Friday.
Mrs. Clinton's husband had a campaign war room in the election of 1992. Now she seems to have put up a quick prefabricated anti-war room for her campaign 2008.
It seems almost pointless to engage in a serious policy debate with a party whose leading contenders for the presidency are willing to simply make up any preposterous national security policy in a contest of one-upmanship targeted at winning the hearts and minds (if that is the word for it) of their party's ready-for-institutionalizing edge of their lunatic fringe voters. Although, it has to be conceded that such Democratic Party voters may well constitute a majority of their primary voters

As bloviating blithering blistering blathering idiots go, Blankley has always ranked as one of the top examples of non-logic, neoconmanism and worse. This article must rank as one of his truly incredible ability to get it wrong.

I saw Tony on TV yesterday and I was shocked. The fat bastard lost at least 40 lbs, and looked quite unhealthy. Of course, writing this kind of crap might make anyone sick. Anyone hear anything about his current health problems?

1. Blankie offers no advice about what to do with the solders that
are in Iraq now, and how their presence in Iraq is going to fix anything.

3. I just get creeped out by his weird Jersey-Brighton accent.
He and Tom Keane...what's with the accents? Did they make 'em up? Or is it a speech impediment?

6. I once exchanged some e-mails with him on one of his
TV performances on PBS with McLaughlin. He said something even more deranged than usual, so I wrote him and called him on it.

He responded, denying he ever said or wrote such a thing. Luckily, I had the transcript, sent it to him as an attachment, and pointed out in detail just how far off base he was.

His response was rude, insulting and called me an idiot. I was proud of that.

7. He used to talk to Eleanor like a piece of crapola, she called him on it
a couple of times and I think he's cooled it a little. As far as I heard quite a while ago, he went on a diet for the obvious reasons, didn't hear he was ill though.

9. Not surprised, I watch Mc Lauglin every week ...
and I wait to see how frustrated he will get when, the woman (I know her name can't think of it now) always says just the right thing, and he just about jumps out of his seat as if he is ready to explode...

8. another cry-baby conservative.
how dare the dems point out we're not winning the war in iraq!

the only ''logic'' the conservative mind can conceive is to frame things in a way to their liking only -- to these lunatics everything else is outrageous.
