I really like Edwards' message.
Specifically about the lobbyists and big corporations -- "entrenched money interests" as he said. He's strong with his convictions on these topics, and he seems sincere. He's spot on when he hits this particular message hard.

Obama talks about change, and offers a great deal of optimism, but falls short of hitting it out of the park -- like he's too afraid of offending someone. And he talks a bit too much about compromise for my tastes. Richardson and Clinton took the condescending "I'm more experienced..." approach. I got tired of Clinton in particular trying to convince everyone that she is the agent of change and not Obama or Edwards -- and I'm not necessarily talking about her shrill defensive moment even. I don't think she really fully understood what Edwards dissed her about earlier. She is the status quo he referred to. It's not just about wanting change from Bush & Co.

I'd like to sit and have a beer with Richardson. I bet he's even funnier after a pint or two. He seems prone to faux pas, but at least can laugh at himself.

That being said, man we have some good candidates! So much better than the previous Republican bozos with their clownish fire drill. The Democratic candidates are so much more in tune with the populace -- they really have a better handle on the issues at hand, overall. And they are all so much more articulate. (Can I say that?) This is much more serious and sincere, IMHO. Excellent.

9. He's exactly right; look how he's been basically ignored by the MSM this week,
even after his impressive finish in Iowa. He threatens the status quo.

12. The message is one that Dennis Kucinich has been saying for years
johnnyboy just uh, er, "borrowed" it. Have you already forgotten his run in 2004?

13. Damn.
You mean Edwards lifted Dennis' shtick and is using it as his own?

That bastard!

Think he'll give it back if Dennis asks real nicely?

16. I do thank him.
But I also recognize that Edwards is his own man - and a good one.

18. Dennis is a much needed voice in this race, and has been.
It is unfair that he was not allowed in this debate. Bill Moyers discussed this on Fri -- how Kucinich and Ron Paul add to the debate overall and are important voices in their own right. Moyers interviewed both.

Worth a peak here:

That being said, I like Edwards' message, and I don't think the fact that his concerns are similar to Kucinich's means Edwards' message is false or any less credible.
