The Republican debate was Night Of The Living Dead
They are so clearly just not engaged or involved or even aware of the life of the average American. NONE of them can go up against ANY ONE of our great candidates.

Remove the word "living" and you nailed it.

7. Fred Thompson's alarm clock was rather annoying.
You would have thought mcCain could have reached over and gently woken him when it was his turn to muble about something.

9. I didn't see it.
But I gather, then, it's the same as their other debates. We're talking about what to do about global warming, they're still arguing whether evolution is real. The difference is striking. We're in the 21st century, they're in the 19th.

10. It was really truly pathetic. And I couldn't even watch the part on healthcare.
How anyone can support any of these goobers is beyond me.

11. OMG
I was just saying this exact thing to my husband prior to pulling up this thread. I am so glad Hillary brought up this contrast in her closing remarks. It was a major point, & I think it also is very telling: it seemed to me that Hillary has more of the big picture and the greater intellect. I doubt any of the other candidates would have thought to bring this up - they were more in tune with highlighting their individual differences rather than the party's. Considering the pool of independents out there and the republicans who are sick to death of their party, pointing out the stark difference in the two debates was key.

12. Yes, this is why I don't watch debates. That was really painful.
