It's not like she threw something at them
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 04:14 PM by LibraLiz1973
I admit, I chuckled at Hillary's response to the boys last night. I'm not a supporter but I actually thought what she did was fine.

To put it in perspective, here is a woman freaking out.

Here is a woman standing up for herself

I'm kind of disgusted by how people are trying to make it seem like she went ape shit.

On edit: Apparently I am a jerk for calling them boys. They are men.

1. People are threatened by strong women.
Not everyone, mind you, but a lot of people are. Hard to believe in this day and age, but I've seen/heard it with my own eyes/ears.

3. As a woman I was really insulted
If one of the guys had responded like that they would have said they were "passionate".

2. There's the "boys" reference again.

If you want credibility in your OP, you might refrain from using maternalistic, patronizing elements.

11. I thought both her reply and his response were funny and charming.
What I got from Obama was (only slightly) grudging admiration, and humor. I thought Clinton hit that one out of the park.

8. It's being blown way out of proportion
I had a hard time figuring out what the "meltdown" even was that every one was referring to here. And I watched the entire debate it just didn't strike me as out of place.

McCain also got mad at Mittens last night. While I chuckled over it, I didn't see him a being out of place with his anger either. It's to be expected at this stage of the debates.

9. Holy mother of pearl. I never fail to be shocked at how piss poor some "parents" behave.
That video was stunning. That video kinda deserves it's own thread.
