I am still officially undecided - but I have to say...
I am glad Hillary deflected all the shit thrown at her. I think it maybe even helped. I would love to see woman win the office of POTUS.

I am glad to see Obama has stirred up the young electorate. My 17yo daughter is very excited about him. Record turnout at a Primary election excites me beyond measure. I would love to see a person of color win the office of POTUS.

I am glad John Edwards keeps fighting and isn't ashamed to bring up Unions and healthcare again and again and again. I would love to see a working class hero, who I truly believe would work to get our middle class back on track and who isn't afraid to say he will withdraw our troops in a time frame win the office of POTUS.

I am still officially undecided - but I think it's okay that way for now.

1. I'm not ready for a coronation yet - lets keep them all in the race for awhile
I think things got decided to abruptly in 2004

3. Good post I like Barak, my spouse likes John...
Hopefully one of them will win it, but we like that whoever wins has to earn it through more than just two small contests.

4. Let's also remember that this is a dress rehearsal
for the general election. If you hon your fight on the campaign trail now, you will be a better candidate in the fall.

5. Take Your Time...The Game Rolls On
I've been blissfully undecided as well and remain so. I keep an open ear and mind for all the candidates. My primary is Feb. 5 and I have a strong feeling I'll be remain undecided until the final day(s). My son is voting in his first presidential election and it's been interesting to get his take on things. He's been an Edwards supporter for most of the campaign. My wife has favored Hillary. I haven't supported a primary candidate since '92 and have enjoyed being detached as well in this campaign. I'm more concerned about local candidates and beating Repugnicans, not other Democrats.

Be a discriminating voter...and be true to your vote. No need to hop on a bandwagon or fall into a camp you're not comfortable with. There's still a long way to go in this obstacle course and only you know what issues are the most important.

7. Awww.....

I didn't think anyone paid attention around here. I've always thought or myself as the the grumpy old hippie in the corner just venting for lack of anything better to do. I figure I've probably pissed my way onto plenty of Ignore Lists. I really appreciate your kind words and I also look for and enjoyed your posts and insight as well.

It's gonna be interesting how things play out in Michigan and Florida if this race remains tight no matter what the delegate situation is. It's the "horserace" that will matter and the corporate media is sure to try to milk your primary. If we had swallowed the corporate media pill, Hillary would have been coronated a year ago or Obama last week. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the floor show here...watching the race develop as it appears you are. Not a bad place to be...beats the roller coaster ride many others are taking right now.

Again...thanks so much for your kind words

8. I'll have to make my mind this week...
at the latest next week. Will be flying home with parents, but I need to make sure I vote ahead of schedule

I know I will not vote for Hill... because of her record in the Senate, even if in principle I'd love to see a woman as POTUS... it is time

Obama is interesting

And I am leaning towards Edwards

I will have to make my mind damn freaking fast though... which means staying away from the MSM... who is playing king maker once again

9. I love that there is no clear winner. Vote for whom you want.
I voted for Clark last go 'round, even though Kerry had it sewn up by the time it all got to Florida.

11. What else is your 17yo daughter excited about?
Britney?

Cristina?

No offence to you or your daughter, but often the very young are long on personality-cult and short on substance.

12. actually, she spends time on myspace defending athiests from attacks
she is a member of her h.s. debate club, loves to read all my books, and tries to grasp politics.

Don't be so mean.

13. I'm not being mean. The majority of kids her age are not plugged in like
your daughter.

They're more engaged by a cult of personality.
