I am still officially undecided - but I have to say...
I am glad Hillary deflected all the shit thrown at her. I think it maybe even helped. I would love to see woman win the office of POTUS.
I am glad to see Obama has stirred up the young electorate. My 17yo daughter is very excited about him. Record turnout at a Primary election excites me beyond measure. I would love to see a person of color win the office of POTUS.
I am glad John Edwards keeps fighting and isn't ashamed to bring up Unions and healthcare again and again and again. I would love to see a working class hero, who I truly believe would work to get our middle class back on track and who isn't afraid to say he will withdraw our troops in a time frame win the office of POTUS.
I am still officially undecided - but I think it's okay that way for now.
I've been blissfully undecided as well and remain so. I keep an open ear and mind for all the candidates. My primary is Feb. 5 and I have a strong feeling I'll be remain undecided until the final day(s). My son is voting in his first presidential election and it's been interesting to get his take on things. He's been an Edwards supporter for most of the campaign. My wife has favored Hillary. I haven't supported a primary candidate since '92 and have enjoyed being detached as well in this campaign. I'm more concerned about local candidates and beating Repugnicans, not other Democrats.
Be a discriminating voter...and be true to your vote. No need to hop on a bandwagon or fall into a camp you're not comfortable with. There's still a long way to go in this obstacle course and only you know what issues are the most important.
I didn't think anyone paid attention around here. I've always thought or myself as the the grumpy old hippie in the corner just venting for lack of anything better to do. I figure I've probably pissed my way onto plenty of Ignore Lists. I really appreciate your kind words and I also look for and enjoyed your posts and insight as well.
It's gonna be interesting how things play out in Michigan and Florida if this race remains tight no matter what the delegate situation is. It's the "horserace" that will matter and the corporate media is sure to try to milk your primary. If we had swallowed the corporate media pill, Hillary would have been coronated a year ago or Obama last week. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the floor show here...watching the race develop as it appears you are. Not a bad place to be...beats the roller coaster ride many others are taking right now.
