Message received loud and clear.

That's why so little is being said in the media about Edwards. You hear more about all of the Republicans, but the top 3 Dems...well...one of them is MIA.

The corporate-owned media received the message, and has responded by blocking much of the talk about Edwards, he's mentioned only in a manner that indicates he's not truly capable of winning.

Why? Well, because the other two candidates have more money! (Yes, we are still electing people based on how much money they have instead of what their qualifications are, where they stand on the issues, minor things like that.) :eyes:

Barack Obama has received more than $3 million in donations from the media conglomerates; Hillary Clinton has received almost $3 million...John Edwards less than $800,000.

They fear Edwards, because he's going to put a stop to their predatory practices that add to their bottom line, but go against the best interests of the American people.

Don't forget...GE makes lots of expensive stuff for the military, as well as owning NBC and all its subsidiaries. The profit margin from sales to the military is much higher than it is for light bulbs and news networks. Think about it. Follow the money. Are you being manipulated?

If it is 'war' THEY want, it is 'war' THEY will have.

What about Big Media? Big Pharma? The Military Industrial Complex? The Banking Industry? The Clothing Industry? The Chemical Industry? The Tobacco Industry? The Prison Industry?

As long as maximizing profit is the primary measure of a corporation's success, people are going to continue to get screwed. We'll continue to have people killed, poisoned, neglected, incarcerated, forced to work in sweatshops, prevented from forming unions, deprived of the information they need to make sensible decisions in a complex world. Etc., etc. etc.

He has so many great ideas that would do much for the middle class that few people - outside of his supporters - are aware of. He has a plan to make higher education accessible. I work in higher ed and it is so difficult for middle income families to pay for. He wants to end NCLB and support rather than penalize schools that are failing. You name the issue, he has a progressive plan. And he is alone on immediate withdrawl from Iraq. I work with young vets who were just notified they were being deployed again next summer - 2nd or 3rd tour. This country needs to hear the only candidate voicing REAL change - John Edwards.
