Paper ballots and audits should be mandatory per his guest, Russ Holt!

to be covered AND brought forth a guest who could speak legitimately to the legitimate concerns we have about getting a legitimate voting result in both the primaries and the GE ! Did I say "legitimate" enough??

Keith is rocking tonight !! Edited to add: Its not only SC. Those machines with no paper trail are in 20 states, including mine.

:woohoo: :woohoo:

4. Thanks for elaborating; SC is the next biggie, and who knows? But
yes, I see trouble in many river cities potentially.

9. Given that he was suspicious of the 2004 election results in Ohio, and that's the reason
some of us are on DU today (me me me me me), it's not a surprise, but it sure is nice to see him in there from the beginning ensuring that election integrity is a story and an issue, nice and early, and that it cannot be swept under the rug.

7. an opt-in bill that just pays the cost 0f going to auditable paper trails - but DU will oppose if

8. I said the same thing earlier today on DU and I got attacked by some prick.
Real Democrats understand the depth and breadth of election fraud in this country.

Every election should have a mandatory recount by hand in front of media and citizen watchers. It would be a recount of all precincts, and complete recount. No one will have to ask, it will be automatic.

Any anomaly will be obvious and made known. Any sitch like more votes in a precinct than registered voters, evidence of vote caging, excessive use of provisional ballots, "18181" motherfucker!, anything unusual will be immediately brought to light.

Provisional ballots will be counted.

Election fraud will still occur, of course. Republicans simply can not live in a lawful fashion. But the days of 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006 will be over.

11. The posts on DU are much meaner than they used to be.
Too many people are trying to get their points across by insulting other posters in personal ways.
