No forgiveness for Democrats?
They have to be perfect. We never get over mistakes, we'll never forget that Kerry didn't fight hard enough. This isn't a repuke poster, its ours. :sarcasm:

1. Why are there still troops in Iraq? Why is impeachment off the table?
Maybe Democrats ought to earn forgiveness.

2. Right. Because the DEMOCRATS keep funding the war.
WHATEVER WE DO, LETS NEVER BLAME ANYTHING ON THE REPUBLICANS. DON'T BLAME THEM FOR STEALING ELECTIONS. DON'T BLAME THEM FOR SUPPORTING BUSH'S WAR. DON'T BLAME THEM FOR NOT HOLDING BUSH ACCOUNTABLE. THEY ARE INNOCENT AND BLAMELESS.

DEMOCRATS ARE TO BLAME.

3. The Republicans are the enemy
It is understood that the Republicans will fund the war. Nobody here expects any different from them. But the Democrats are supposed to be stopping them, or at least trying to stop them, or at least making it look like they're trying to stop them.

They are doing none of those things. They keep pandering to conservatives instead of liberals. They keep representing their corporate donors instead of the people.

If Republicans don't get a pass, why should the Democrats?

And before you say it, I'll clarify right now that I am speaking of the Democrats in Name Only, not the many liberal Democrats who are truly trying to get something done. I am speaking of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, to name just a couple.

4. But the general public hears that and they think
its the Democrats fault. Its almost ridiculous. All the republicans are in favor of the war and they are totally behind Bush and support it completely. Some of the Democrats do. But its those Democrats who are held accountable. If half the Republicans decided to stop funding the war, they could join half the Democrats who are also against it - then it wouldn't be a partisan thing and it would work. As it is, only the Democrats are being blamed. And that includes the ones who are doing everything right.
