After Toll Brother is on discussing implosion in "luxury housing" and some other guest..he will feature Mannie Coulter talking about Obama Hillary Food Fight.

The perspective is from the Right as Larry says...so some of you might want to tune to Fox. I won't watch Fox so here's the alternative....:eyes: If you aren't interested in "Anna Nicole" OTT.

1. "Implosion" in luxury housing?
Not in the Triangle - not by any means.

to be advertising and building in the Triangle... It just hasn't hit here yet. The Triangle is living in Dreamland for awhile.

It was the news of the day on Wall St., though. Housing Bubble Bursting hasn't seen a bottom yet. Toll Brothers has had to sell off land it bought and sales are down 16 percent.

3. It's not any better for modest housing in NM
There are now 2 renovated houses on my end of the block that are sitting empty. One has been empty for a year.

Nobody is reducing asking prices--yet--and official figures make it look like the market here is reasonably stable.

However, nothing is selling.

I don't see any under construction, either.

5. From what I hear, quite a while.
If I'm not mistaken, population is expected to double by 2020. I drive by the tear-downs and spotted what I thought were $800K single-family homes; turns out they're $800K townhomes. What a bargain - feels like I'm back in DC!
