My choice would be mentioning that all polls of Iraqis show that they want us to LEAVE, so either we are spreading democracy or we are occupying Iraq, but we can't do both at the same time.

He could also say WHY the GOP & DLC want to have enduring bases in Iraq: to enforce oil contracts and be in a position to intimidate and invade other oil producing countries.

I could think of some uncomfortable corporate questions, but Edwards has been more or less addressing those.

What would you add?

2. He can say, I am the ONLY candidate who has not voted to fund the War.
I am the ONLY candidate promoting Single-Payer not-for-profit Healthcare.

3. I hope he slams the corporate media, which tried to
keep him out of the debate in the first place. His time allotment is going to be damn small, so he'd better use it wisely.

6. Agreed...
I'd love to see him calmly yet passionately speak truth to power:

"Corporate America has tried to determine who your candidates are, America. It seems they're succeeding thus far. There are election fraud/manipulation issues because of corporations like Diebold jeopardizing the power of your vote; mass media blatantly manipulates the news you receive (and more importantly don't receive); and there is the pervasive control corporate lobbyists have on Washington. Your pocketbooks are directly affected when corporate greed goes unchecked, resulting in multimillion-dollar bonuses to CEOS who have run a company into the ground resulting in layoffs of tens of thousands of average Americans.

Something is very wrong with this picture and you don't have to accept it as 'business as usual.'

Our democracy is at a critical stage. We must wake up and free ourselves from this control, and we then must begin holding people accountable for damaging our country. This is why I have put impeachment of Bush and Cheney on the table, even if the so-called leaders refuse to act with courage. It's not only about holding the Bush Administration accountable for the damage they have knowingly caused millions around the world, it's also about the American people being given a voice, telling politicians that they're on notice and will likewise be held accountable.

No more business as usual. It's time for the American people to wake up and get involved with our democracy. Choosing the right presidential candidate is a huge step in doing so.

I'm sure I won't have any more time to speak here tonight, so I encourage you all to look into the issues I mentioned here. Go to the library, go online, talk to others who have researched these issues threatening our democracy. Get involved."

4. Iraq, Iran, Restoring the US Constitution, Unitary Executive,
Billswife, Obama and Edwards are corporatist garbagemongers, etc.

If they actually give him some time, it would be nice to hear how his HealthCARE Plan differs from the HealthINSURANCE Plans brought forth by the others...

It will just be nice to have him in the debate...

7. I want him to talk about WHY he was excluded by General Electric Media
But alas, that would be labeled as "poor sportsmanship" and "sour grapes" by the very same media and then they'll only focus on DK's "whining." But that's what I'd like to hear him ask.
