Happy National Religious Freedom Day, W! What an interesting day in history.
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 01:51 AM by IdesOfOctober
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_16">January 16th is a nifty keen day. Here in the US, we celebrate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Religious_Freedom_Day">National Religious Freedom Day.

This concept, no doubt foreign to Shrubya, commemorates the date on which the Virginia legislature adopted the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Statute_for_Religious_Freedom">Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, penned by a famous http://www.typelogic.com/intj.html">INTJ. Three things he prized above all: his writings on liberty, his writings on tolerance, and his role in contributing to the education of others. Nevermind about all the rest (and there was a little more than just those three that could've been etched on that obelisk).

Happy Religious Freedom Day to everyone here at DU! :toast:

11. As I peer out the IdesCave forcefield, I can see it's snowing here too.
Trust me, we felt your toast last night. We're toasted. That is to say, we played with toasters, and lost.

Now I'm cuddled up, toasty.

How was your commute this morning?

When it snows in Hotlanta, something's amiss with the global thermostat, Pat.

12. You should have recruited the Waffle Iron
You would have kicked butt and had a tastier snack.
Leaving now roads are ok. Lame and I both work mid shifts but he has more fun working in mid-town store. (less republicans)

I had a pile of laundry blocking my way to the coffeemaker and back for my daily telecommute. Traffic was a nightmare.
