This vote needs to be DU'd!!

Whether you like country music or not, Country Music Television has opened voting for videos of the year.

The DIXIE CHICKS are in several categories, and unlike the Grammies, the country community is not behind them at all.....damned Republicans!

Anyway, go to the link below, and vote for the Chicks in all of the categories they are in. It is time that the common people take back country music along with everything else that the neo-cons stole from us. Here is the link if you are interested:

I went and had a look at the Dixie Chicks board and it's fugging priceless. Every cliche about country music fans is on display. Dammit, if the Dixie Chicks piss the RWers off that much, I may have to start listening to their music.

6. They've always been better than your average Country artists. Real musicians.

"Home" is a great album, too, if a bit overproduced. "Goodbye, Earl" is fun, but feminist-topical black humor.

7. The only country artist I ever liked

...was the late Johnny Cash. Don't know anything about his political views, don't really want to but what a voice.

......have been GREAT! But this newest one reaches new heights! Would love for DU'ers to overtake that vote and see them win MULTIPLE CMT Awards...right in front of the country artists and audience!!!
