I didn't send it yet. I'd appreciate your input.
We are being sold a bill of goods by our government and our corporate media. Indeed a large percentage of Americans are forming opinions about political candidates, the Iraq war, and the "war on terror" without crucial information which is being ignored by the mainstream press in this country. Catch-phrases such as "cut and run", "stay the course", "emboldens the enemy", "war on terror", "islamofascism", ect. are repeated ad nauseam and serve to oversimplify the issues, polarize opinion, and stifle critical debate. Subjects about which you will hear little, if anything, include: the US Military Industrial Complex, the Project for a New American Century, the Carlyle Group, Big Oil's Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) in Iraq, the Downing Street Memos, the new $592 Million U.S. Embassy being built right now in Iraq, "Enduring" military bases the U.S. has already built in Iraq, and white phosphorus and direct energy weapons, to name a few. Why do we hear virtually nothing about the above issues? Do they not have relevance regarding the war in Iraq and US foreign policy in general? That's ok, pay no mind. Brittney shaved her head.
