Economic Stimulus Package
Rep. John Spratt (D-SC) chairs a hearing of the House Budget Cmte. the near-term outlook for the U.S. Economy. The only witness is Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve System Chair., who is expected to comment on proposals for an economic stimulus package. The Fed has been criticised for not acting more aggressively.
