How did this recession come on so damned quickly?
I mean, Bush was on teevee just last week telling us how strong the economy is. Could he have been *GASP!* lying?

Nooo...couldn't be that. But hey, let's celebrate with some TAX CUTS! WOO HOO!

I agree that everything snowballed after this boondoggle hit home. But, the economy was not in strong condition before that. All the reports we've heard since 2001 have been cherry-picking and obfuscation

They've been lying for 6 years. With the exception of nominal growth, this 6 year period is the third worst since WWII for all other indicators in most any econometric model, including mine.

Take any six consecutive year period (under one administration) since 1946, and you will find that this is statistically significantly inferior to the mean of that 62 years, and is the third lowest over that same timeframe.

It's never been a robust economy. Now, did Silverspoon lie. Probably not. He has no understanding of macroeconomics, so he just says what they tell him to say.
