FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) -- One-hundred years in prison is the sentence for an American soldier involved in the rape of an Iraqi girl, who was then murdered along with her family. snip

Cortez admitted to murder, rape and other charges in a case considered one of the worst atrocities involving U-S forces in Iraq. In his plea agreement, Cortez says he conspired with three other soldiers from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to rape the girl. She was later killed along with her parents and a sister.

3. This is why "Support the troops" rings hollow to me.

"The troops" as a single entity includes these monsters.

They killed a girl's family as they were in the act of raping her. Then they killed her and tried to hide their crime. All while wearing the uniform and collecting a salary from our treasury.

Come on, you lurking right wingers, attack me. If you have any daughters (as I do), think how this would make you feel if it was YOUR daughter. And if you don't, then shut the fuck up.
