Edwards Money Bomb doesn't look like any record.
This is second hand information - so take it for what it's worth. I just spoke to someone who has been emailing w/Edwards finance chair all day, and I'm told they've had a really good fund raising day, but that they don't expect to "even come close" to $1 million. I was hoping this effort would at least give Ron Paul a run for his money. Ahh well. Everything helps and this just means we need to work that much harder. Fight on to Denver!

Ron Paul's supporters are much wealthier than we are. That is why they want no government. They think they will get to keep all their money to themselves.

Body count will end up meaning more than money collected. Shit, one C-level Pharma exec could send HRC/BO a check for a million and never even miss it. At the end of the day -- it is the grassroots speaking out that will make the difference.

9. It's our work that makes a difference.
I walked 20 more houses today. I will have to call on a lot of them because people were not home, but I met several undecideds, and talked to them about Edwards.

The designs I use in my posts usually include a link to my line of Edwards '08 t-shirts, but because today was devoted to HIS fund-raising, I didn't think it was appropriate to hawk my wares so I left it off. I would love it too...........It would look spectacular on just about anything. I did buy a button on Edwards site, but I really don't care for it much, I'd much prefer your logo on it.

21. I truly hope you're right.
I'm just passing on what I heard. I donated $100 just after midnight, to try and get the thing off to a strong start. That's all I can afford for Edwards this month. I had just entertained fantasies of a $7 Million Dollar day. Of course 1 Million would be awesome. And yes, it's about the people. But damn, I want a victory here.

Let's just say the average donation is $25. You'd only need 40,000 donations to hit the $1 million mark. I think he's got enough of a grassroots following to make at least that amount.
