Wow: WJ this morning -your opinion of the Clintons and Cheney

This should be interesting although we know Brian's agenda.

The Washington Journal has found a way around the "bias" accusation; they read from the NYT, but only negative editorials. This allows Republicans to say that they use "liberal" newspapers, and it allows these "liberal" newspapers to criticize Democrats.

No criticism, of course.

She said she would love Dick Cheney to be dropped in Baghdad without the equipment just like he sent the troops. She let them have it.

I've long accused WJ and C-SPAN of Right Wing Bias. F.A.I.R. has long documented this...and I still don't think C-SPAN has ever addressed this issue.

One thing I've long suggested is that C-SPAN let us know which phone lines are being put on the air...to see how "fair" the call selection is. Even better would be to see the call volume...which lines get the most calls. My bets one can get through on the Repugnican line and will get on the air faster than a Democrat...and that this somehow "balances" the show.

I was not listening to the call at first but she accused Brian of twitching and looking uncomfortable when pukes call and cutting them off. She said it was obvious he was a dem as were all his staff. Brian got pretty POd.

On edit, I guess it was the same caller, I missed the Clinton felony, Cheney innocent part.

The one I was thinking of was a few minutes earlier. It always amazes me how the rw whiners manage to stretch out their calls by making the hosts feel guilty.

We joke about fascist Fridays with Brian here on DU, and they do seem to have more conservative guests than liberal, but all in all I think they do a pretty god job.

Let me back off of that a bit, I disliked when they changed their call lines from repubes, dems, indy to bushies, dems, indys because the rebuke callers were bashing bunnypants. I have also heard some hosts say the puke lines are all open while the dem lines are full and they request more puke callers. I wish they'd air calls proportional to the callers.

Right away, buddy. I'll just run down to Barnes & Noble and buy that.

a republic just called in and accused Lamb of being a Democrat because he "moves around and fiddles" when Democrats call in. Caller said Lamb doesn't like to hear criticism of the Democratic people. She even said the Clintons are guilty of felonies but wasn't found guilty and Dead Eye is just wonderful "guilty of nothing." Funny stuff if it weren't so scary when you realize this woman walks among us - she is a danger to herself and others she is so stupid.

My pet peeve with C-Span and the call in show is the automatic distribution of calls. Since Dead Eye's approval ratings are in the teens why not pro rate the calls coming in? Splitting the calls down the middle gives the impression that VP Asswipe is more popular than he actually is. There is no way to correct this but it does feed the neocons' delusions. And delusions are all they have left.

more considerate to us Democrats. :P The Hor-ror! Thou protesth too much Brian my boy. But still it is difficult to really dislike him because deep down in his soul, he really believes that he is TOTALLY balanced. I love our Fascist Fridays with Brian but would LOVE MORE to play poker with this man. He has oh so many "tells." ;)
