3. Uh, when the polling places CLOSE? Like this evening??
What is with the need for instant gratification these days? Half the NV voters are probably still in BED.

4. Gee... Thank You For Your Condescention...
But what I was hoping for was exactly that sort of info. When do the polls close, and when do the results start getting posted?

As in, I've got a few errands to do today, but would like to be back in time to watch the results as they come in.

As in, usually somebody (sometimes even me), has done the homework and is happy to provide this info to those of us who ask.

As in, did you step in cat-shit this morning when you got outta bed?

What IS your major mal-function?

:wtf:

9. there are no polling places. It's a caucus state.
The repukes caucuses begin at 9am so they're underway now and should be over in an hour. We can expect to hear the result for them shortly thereafter. The dem caucuses begin at 11:30. We should know by late afternoon eastern time.

Today we have the 2008 Nevada Democratic and Republican Caucuses, also the South Carolina Republican Primary…

it will be an interesting day in the presidential race.

With Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton neck and neck on the Democratic side,
the Republicans see Congressman Ron Paul and Mitt Romney having made the biggest effort.

If you’re watching closely you can see Nevada Caucuses and South Carolina Primary Results Live

8. SC primary ->closes @ 7 PM est / NV caucuses Start @ 2:30 PM - results by 5:00 pm ET
*** Saturday two-fer: The next round of nominating contests occurs today, as Republicans in South Carolina
and Democrats and Republicans in Nevada go to the polls/caucuses. The South Carolina primary starts things
off, with polls opening at 7:00 am ET and closing at 7:00 pm ET. The Nevada Democratic caucuses, meanwhile,
take place at 2:30 pm ET (sites open at 2:00 pm), and the state party expects to have results by 5:00 pm ET.

Theses caucuses operate just like the Iowa Dem ones did -- caucus-goers can make a second choice if their
original pick doesn’t receive a minimum threshold of support. And the GOP caucuses in the state follow the Iowa
GOP model -- they're more like a straw poll and there is no second choice. They begin at noon ET, and results
should start coming in at 1:30 pm ET.
