I believe that it will happen and if he does, he has a shot at winning.

If it Hillary/McCain, a lesser chance.

If its Obama and anyone else, he won't run.

1. Against Clinton, I believe he will win.
I don't think he will run against Obama, because Obama and he would run on the same type of change platform.

2. Why would Bloomberg step in
if it's Hillary?

Bloomberg likes Hillary.

5. I'll believe it when I see it.
Bloomberg would not hand a victory to the Republicans with Hillary running. It makes zero sense.

3. I sincerely hope he runs even if McCain is the nominee--I am a little

nervous about a McCain-Clinton matchup. Maybe Bloomberg could offer the money guys and the anti-war faction of the GOP enough of an alternative to hurt McCain, since he's admitted he knows nothing about the economy. If it's Romney, I don't know. I think we'd win that particular contest no matter who our nominee is, and both Mittens and Bloomie are businessmen and fiscal conservatives, so there may not be much room there for Bloomberg. If Obama wins, he won't run at all.

6. what will bloomberg run on
"I am a billionaire and I want to buy the presidency for my personal amusement" I think he is a distant third if he runs. i'll vote for him if he gives me enough money. I'm not cheap but I can be had.
