Did gun control sink Edwards in Nevada today?

Did gun control sink Edwards in Nevada today?
Nevada is a very pro-gun state. Nationally, Edwards polls much higher than what was reflected in Nevada today. So did his comments about banning guns in the debate hurt his chances against Clinton and Obama, despite their own anti-gun rhetoric?

2. According to Major Garrett , Fox: He says John Edwards
did not seriously contest Nevada. He said earlier th4 Unions
had essentially locked Edwards out so he did not contest. Did
not make Media buysetc.

3. He just didn't have the money, and got out maneuvered by two very skilled
politicians.

I just heard on CBS that Edwards is going to reassess his campaign after next week's SC primary.

4. NV and AZ are both strong Ron Paul states
so the folks who are looking for a not-the-status-quo candidate

may have jumped over to Paul
