Starting Civil Disobedience
We are going to be starting this in MI. First order of business, going to Rep. Camp's office and reading the names of each US soldier and Iraqi civilian, until we are thrown out. We will also be staging a "die in", and a sit in at a local college. Time to step it up folks..this war is going to be pushed into full throttle and the majority of elected officials DO NOT CARE...

1. I admire your spirit.

I used to protest, but it just felt so useless that I stopped...But you know what I like? The fact that though there was no protest, the war still failed in public opinion. It shows the fools who blame the loss in Viet Nam on the hippies the real issue: reality doesn't go away when you stop believing in it, and neither does immorality.

edit: there was no widely publicized protest I mean

3. No protest?
I've been to at least six major protests and lots of smaller ones since 2003.

6. looks like you posted right after I edited...
but yeah, I caught that right after I said it. The media blackout just lets the republicans think there was no protest.

2. Me too!
It's time to take it up a notch!

I'll be lucky if I make it through Saturday without getting arrested.

4. I'd be there myself. But my guy, Henry Waxman, is already one of
the Good Guys.
