The night that Barack found out that the first liar doesn't have a chance
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 12:53 AM by NNN0LHI
(Keep in mind that I am paraphrasing a lot here from memory)

Remember during the last debate when the moderator asked the candidates what thing they felt that they just weren't as good at as they wished they could be. Or what was it they felt deficient in?

Barack answered first and honestly and said that he needed aides to keep him informed and organized and that he wished he could do these things better on his own without the help.

Then the other two candidates used the same question to their advantage. Edwards said his deficiency was seeing people work all their lives and then losing everything. He felt that these uncontrollable feeling about this was making him very sad. And that was his deficiency. BadaBoom

Hillary had some answer very similar though not exact as Edwards had. But it had the same effect. BadaBing

About this time Barack is sitting there scratching his head thinking I just got fecked on this deal.

But then to add insult to injury Clinton and Edwards both criticized Obama for being "unorganized." BadaBang

Anyone else notice that?

3. No. Because no one gave a fuck about a dumb trivia question.
It was just more media eyewash. Leave it to an Obama partisan to obsess over it.

4. You think he doesn't know that game?
And doesn't use it exactly the way he wants to? Who hasn't been asked the 'biggest weakness' question. I think he did great exposing them as politics as usual say anything candidates, exactly like he planned.

6. Oh, so he was calculated rather than honest and sincere?
Everyone practicing for an interview knows you take that question and turn it into a positive.

A disorganized executive is not inspiring.

10. Oh please. I don't know an attorney who can keep his papers straight.
They all have so much to deal with that the stuff piles up beyond belief. I have seen lawyers' offices that rivaled the Collier Bros. It is a common condition.

11. If you want a lying game player, politics as usual
bullshitter in the White House.

If you're looking for honesty - well then not so much.

9. "My weakness is that I don't have any weakness"
Or words to that effect. I can't believe that he got caught in that one, it's on the first page of interview skills 100. Didn't he ever do debate in high school?

13. Clinton "frustrated when people don't seem to understand...."
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 02:19 AM by ingin
I wrote about this yesterday.

Either Clinton was pandering as opposed to being honest, or she told us that she gets frustrated when people don't see that she knows what's best for us.

With all due respect to Senator Clinton, I have a mother. And before anybody tries to strike this down as misogynistic, take into consideration that I have been advocating for for the ascension of the first Madam President since the '06 mid-terms; Pelosi for President via Impeachment of Bush and Cheney.

14. That question should not have been asked.
It was a trick question. It is frequently asked in job interviews. You are not supposed to hurt your chances for the job when you answer it. The answer is supposed to be true but not detrimental to your chance to get the job. Edwards and Hillary answered that stupid question "correctly." Another typical "good" answer is: Sometimes I work too hard. My wife/husband complains that I work at home on weekends and at night too much. True, Obama answered honestly, but very naively. Surely he has some faults that are more socially acceptable. He could have said for instance that he sometimes thinks he talks too long on the phone with his wife and kids when he is traveling and can't see them (assuming that to be true).
