Not that i would object to an additional $800-1000, as long as they dont do their 2001 tax fallacy that they imposed on the US population.......:hi:

1. It is an instant repudiation of Supply-Side.
This is an endorsement of Keynesian economics if I have ever seen one.

10. Keynesian economics is what we're under right now...
...pumping our poor economy full of cheap money and incredibly high government spending without the taxes to back it up.

2. When Bush says that the economy is great he means for the rich.
To hell with everybody else.

3. I think I'm going to take my payment...
...and donate it to the Democratic candidate as a sort of protest. But, I'm in a position that I can afford to do it (I'm getting a small bonus from the Navy at about the same time to offset it).

5. His first rebate was used for my first political party contribution
which of course was to the democrats.

I'd supported individual candidates before but never the party itself

4. The economy never was great.
Facts were distorted to make it look good to anyone who could be fooled.

7. I agree
The "recovery" was shallow from the last down turn.

6. The economy really hasn't been very good since 911,
and now all the signs look like we are headed into an even deeper recession. Europe is getting worried that our economy will tank and that will affect them, so they're urging the administration do do something. The repubs just want the stimulus package to help their party in the coming election. If this wasn't an election year there would be no clamoring for a stimulus package from this administration you can be sure.

9. ROTFLMAO!!! Uh,...well, let's see how many can be named in their blame game.
Hey, they got theirs,...had their turn not only looting the nation but bankrupting it as well. So, naturally, they are grinning and feeling their oats saying, "the fundamentals are still strong" while buying a wee more time, I repeat, BUYING a wee more time to finish off the job of drowning the baby (our nation) in the bathwater.

11. First you must remove half of your brains, then scramble the other half...
then you will come up with the reason. And here it is: it's to boost and already strong economy to a mega economy. Jeeez, haven't you been paying attention or is it that you haven't been drinking your daily ration of koolade? It's double plus good!
