If he did, the news must have overlooked his attendance.

However, they are billing the event as a fight!

I have one word for them M$M on this type of reportage: banal!

Oh yeah, no mention of Kucinich either.

Has the M$M decided on their candidate, or at least have narrowed their choice down to just two of them?

P.S. I finally watched a debate this season. Rs must be sweating bricks.
And offering their candidates free talking lessons

2. It really was a fight.
Edwards was there. Kucinich wasn't.

Clinton & Obama duked it out, and Edwards won the fight. :-)

3. Edwards WON the damned thing
He got my vote last night (since Kucinich has been marginalized.)

4. They declared him the winner last night.
So lets not pretend that he gets no attention. Kucinich wasn't there.

5. Yes, the M$M has our next President all planned out for us.
And many of the sheeple are cooperating splendidly.

The M$M is going to build up Obama and Clinton - ignoring Edwards - until he (hopefully to them) drops out. Then, just when Obama looks like he might really win the nomination, they're going to destroy him with allegations of mob connections, through his buddy Rezko. (A quick search of Rezko will reveal a lot, and he has a trial starting in February for lots of illegal activities. Convenient, no?)

With Edwards and Obama out of the picture, that just leaves our gal Hillary Clinton. She's their gal, too. They will dredge up Whitewater, the blow job, Vince Foster, the Wal-Mart days, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum.

Nothing is guaranteed to get out the vote for the GOP like Hillary Clinton. The name alone raises the blood pressure of all the good little Kool-Aid sipping Republicans.

That's pretty much how it's supposed to work.

There was a lot of money spent to defame the Clintons.

7. It's really disgraceful, isn't it?
And yet, they did almost nothing after 9/11. And now the Dems won't do ANYTHING about Bush and Cheney. Compared to anything the Clinton's could have done, ignoring the crimes of Bush and Cheney is truly a national disgrace.

8. Who?
No, I heard coverage that people thought Edwards won the debate but they won't vote for him because they don't think he can win. I wonder how they became convinced. :eyes:

9. They are lazy, compromised and cowards
Bosses direct them to write to a 12 yr old intellectual level. They don't believe they can explain policy at that level so they skip it or simplify it to the point where it is unrecognizable slogans. If they show an ounce of originality they are spanked back into line until they are reliable self censors. When BEGGED to put substance into the material they sigh and say they really don't think it is an issue in this case (and every case is this case) They are threatened with blackballing constantly, and jobs in journalism are rare prizes. When the "old hands" leave the Bosses pop in some bright eyed little conservative hairdo replacement or a lovely young woman just out of college--folks that can be more easily controlled.

It's sad--and I fear irreversible--what has happened to our media. Time to ignore it and go alternative.
