New talking point: The Dem economic plan a "quick fix"/ Repug plan better for "long term...
Edited on Wed Jan-23-08 11:26 AM by Roxy66
health of Country". I have heard this crap several times in the last few days on MSNBC by so-called "Econimists". And suprise, suprise...they never ask a follow up question...like "give me an example of this". All you need to do is look at recent history and the facts are, after 7 years of Reagan we had the crash of 1987...and after 7 years of Bush we have our current economic disaster.....grrr

1. ok, so giving people a check is a long-term plan, while job training and
stricter regulation are quick fixes?

2. There should be no Repub plan....
... since they've been telling us how sound the economy is.

Let's just hear some more of that "free market" bullshit some more. The more they lay that shit on the people - some of whom have been hurting for years - the bigger the asswhuppin' will be in the fall.

Repub plans do work! The Repubs gave us the plan for disaster... and it worked.

6. MSNBC has really been brainwashed with GOP economics.
Their analytical abilities are questioable at times.

When Bernake and Treasury Sec. asked for action. They specified
they wanted a short term temporary fix. Immediate action to fix
the Crisis. They said Long term actions would be good. They
said Do the Emergency Bill. Then consider long term.

MSNBC would be more credible if they said it is against Conservative
Economics of Republicans to do these short time assistance to
Citizen's . They only believe in long term. You know it is really
a bad situation when President Bush went against Conservatism and
used Kensyian Model Stimulus.

Instead they equate long term and immediate action.

8. Republicans have already demonstrated how they plan economically
for long term..It certainly is not the Democrats fault that we are having economic problems. If Republicans knew how to manage economically we would not be in any economic difficulties. Why should anyone give them any credibility what-so-ever when it come to economics, just because they say so?????
