What is being proposed in Congress to fix "No Child Left Behind"?

I hear so many angry people- some want it repealed, some want it reformed, others want it funded. Does anyone know what specific legislation is out there?

They were supposed to reform it this past fall and then they put it off until fall 2008 so it can be a factor in the presidential race.

6. Oh there are a ton of bills

My congressman has a really good one that says if the feds don't fund it, schools don't have to do it.

But they want to nail bush and insure a Democratic win in the WH and Congress so they are putting it off.

In other words, millions of kids are getting screwed for at least one more year.
