I believe I've finally figured out why a person like myself needs a site like DU.

I'm out in the world constantly, either working on the Bank's Servers (Computers) or in people's homes
...doing what Techs do..

I hear some of the most idiotic, moronic, disgusting comments that have ever come out of a person's mouth day in and day out.

"George is doing a hell-of-a-job"
"The Democrats are just going to bankrupt us with socialized Medicine"
"The Debt doesn't matter...We only owe ourselves the money"
"The Republicans are the party to hold down taxes"

ARRggg!

Anyway...at least, when I come here to DU, I'm with my own kind..People who TRY to analyze the world and it's problems.
Is it always Sunshine and Roses?..Hell No!..But even the worst of us has Compassion,fair thinking and truly want the best for everybody.

of America, they knew very well they had to control the message that reached the masses. They started in radio and moved into TV later on and the right wing radio and TV propagandists began the mass brainwashing that is ongoing even today. It has worked fairly well. If it weren't for the "internets", we'd be so in the dark about this criminal cabal and their rape of America, we'd still be getting shouted down for questioning anything they do. The goal was a permanent repig majority. They almost pulled it off. The best they can hope for now is to retire somewhere, count their money and hope they don't wind up in jail.
